Cross Hatching Rulers

 
The Crosshatching Diagonal Rulers were designed by "accident". I was working with the Sashiko Templates and had a horrible time making the exact diagonal lines which add a lot of texture and variety to the basic Sashiko designs. I needed a way to make these diagonal lines - and make them accurately!  I soon had a flash of inspiration and the Diagonal Rulers were developed.

As with my Sashiko Templates, the Diagonal Ruler compensates for the width of the hopping foot of the quilting machine. Please indicate which brand of longarm quilting machine you have when you order the Diagonal Ruler.
