Christmas is just around the corner! I hope that your Christmas preparations are going smoothly and that you will have some time to rest, relax and enjoy the season!

As a special gift to you all, I have placed a FREE, online video mini class on the Longarm U website showing how to quilt two easy, free hand quilting patterns, Ribbon Stipple and Landscape Stippling.  This mini class includes the piecing patterns for placemats and a table runner. Both of which make GREAT last minute gifts!

Another great LAST MINUTE GIFT that has lots of style is a quilted sweatshirt! And just how do you get a (purchased) sweatshirt on a quilting machine? On the Innovations Online website there is a class that will show you how! After you register for this class you will be able to immediately see the video! Dian Keepers, the class instructor, will show you how to do this - and more!

Quilters Against Breast Cancer
A few weeks ago I saw an absolutely wonderful exhibit of the most interesting quilts. These quilts were all for sale and all the proceeds went to the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation. This foundation is working with the wedding gown industry which donate "old" wedding gowns (which have never been worn) to the Making Memories Foundation.  The gowns are distributed (for a slight fee) to quilters nationwide, to make quilts from the donated wedding gowns. The completed quilts are donated back to the foundation so they can be sold. All the money raised is used to grant wishes for breast cancer patients.
