Where is Longarm University located? Longarm University (LAU) is located about 8 miles from Sea-Tac airport in Renton, WA. It is in a semi-rural area about half way between Seattle and Tacoma, WA. LAU is close to lodging, restaurants and RV accommodations. Workshops and classes are held in a professional longarm quilter's studio. By having classes in a quilting studio, you get to see how another quilter has her studio set up and how she works on a daily basis.
